I grew up playing hockey and I can still skate pretty well. Ill go out to the rink and slap the puck around on a Sat morning.
I drove by a ski hill last weekend and my heart started racing. I havent skied since high school but I think Id like to get up there. We have about a dozen places to choose from. Thing is I know Ill break my leg, or head whatever.
I know it. But I still want to go.
Do you ever do what you know you probably shouldnt do ?

Well, Gov. Arnold just broke his leg skiing, you better be careful my dear.
But yes, I do things sometimes I probably shouldn't. But it usually isn't any winter sports.

I've done cartwheels in the park as an adult. Just spontaneously. I did announce a brief warning first.
And doing a handstand against a wall is sometimes a good way to remember there is more than one way of viewing the world.

This made me think of a "moment"
I was stopped at a red light near one of the city lakes here. The area is filled with energy and the greatest shops and cafe's. People bycicling, jogging etc.
Its a warm rich place to spend an afternoon eating and watching.
As I was waiting for the light to turn green an older man on roller blades and wearing a headset listening to some unknown song crossed the street in front of me.
He stopped in the middle of the road and he danced. He spun and his arms were conducting an orchestra. There were hundreds of people about and he didnt have a care as he shined his light.
Ill never forget that moment. It was one of my more important lessons.
To let your light shine and dance as if no one were watching.

What a great moment. I like your reasoning at the end too.
