BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

How can this be?? It's SUMMER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a little yellow robin sitting on my window sill, shivering, and looking accusingly at me. What did I do? My actual lawn is not white, but there's snow in the hills. ... Now the robin's digging dead moths out of the web my friendly black spider spins each night - cheeky b&gger, the bird I mean.

Got a lovely late Chrissie pressie last night. Phone call from the kids, in Vienna!!! They did make it through the London fog. They love Vienna. See it as a film set, of course. And reckon the sausage is to die for, and the coffee, and the Kuchen.

:D

LC, I heard about your weather. Did not realize you got tornados down there. Did your area make out OK?

We have had steady rain here since yesterday afternoon. It is supposed to turn to snow later this evening.

tornadoes are not uncommon here due to tropical storms, but i don't recall ever seeing something like this in late December! i had heavy rains, but north of me was some serious devastation for people. :(

That is too bad. As if your area (the whole south east,} did not have enough during hurricaine season.

Be careful, Onsekiz. Cold hands, (or feet,) can be due to poor circulation. Maybe it would be a good idea to bring this to the attention of your doctor?

I live in the same metro area Chonsigirl does, and it's surprising how mild our winter's been so far.

I'm not complaining!

Yes, it is mild here! A lovely 45 or so today, and no snow in sight.............:)

I am wondering if we will get any snow at all this year. I do like those snow days from school. :)

Very strange weather here. I am in Eastern Canada and it has been very mild. We have had maybe only 4 cm of snow so far and it only laster one day. It was +10 degrees(Celsius) here on Christmas day. You can take a drive around the village and you will see that all the grass is still green. I have seen files flying around outside. real strange for Canada this time of year. Now Western Canada is a different story. I have a Sister in Alberta and they have had snow since Oct with very cold temperatures.
