A part of me feels bad for the babies, they are innocent in all this. But it has to stop.

Yes it has to stop somehow, it has been going on for decades. :-5 It isn't uncommon for pregnant women to come across the border just to have their babies here so they can have 100% medical coverage for them, and their babies.

They don't live here they just have their baby in the states making that baby a US citizen. They have been working the Medical system far to long.

I'm a US citizen who lives here, and works here and I can't get 100% medical coverage period. I can't get my rent paid for, my food paid for and my childrens education paid for, but they can. They are draining CALIFORNIA dry..

It's not just California either that is being drained.

I get hot about this issue so all I'll say for now is that what the illegal men and women are doing is wrong, kids or no. It does not take integrity to drop your charge on US soil so we can provide for it FOR you.

No need to feel bad for the babies, they become "American Citizens" out of all this mess! :wah: That is just wrong, if the parents aren't legal citizens, then how in the he*l is it legal for the child being born here at "our expense" allows that travisty to happen! :-5 If "they" don't want to become legal citizens here in this Country & do it the legal way, then send them back to wherever they came from, especially if "they" are pregnant! :-5 Our own "legal" poor citizens in this Country should be so lucky as to be treated as good as the illegals are!

Aren't there laws already on the books that one can't benefit from the result of a crime? Criminals can't get rich writing books about their killing sprees or other crimes, can't keep the profits from selling stolen goods, etc. I think similar logic can be applied to this. The parents are breaking the law to benefit the kid. Citizenship should only be granted to children born of legal aliens or citizens, not criminal aliens.

Unfortunately, while nobody was looking, an enormous voting bloc of sympathizers has assembled and "the Hispanic" vote is now something the politicians court.

As long as that group exists, I can't imagine we'll be able to stop the flow of benefits.

On my more pessimistic days, I see this as an Hispanic country within 50 years. Which will mean the loss of a lot of valuable culture.
