My future mother in law's St bernard died 3 months ago, she was devestated. Although another dog can never take the place of the last, it certainly helps. Here's me with the new baby in the family, her name is Zara, she's 6 weeks old & as you can see already huge
I'll keep you posted with pics as she grows :-4

I totally understand. I just want to say this: the future pupster that gets all the love and devotion that you've been saving up will be one very lucky doggie indeed :-4
love to you honey :-6

I'm told that St Bernards are decendants of the Burmese Mountain Dog.

He's darling!
I am surprised to see a real photo of you Buttercup, as I am used to "seeing" you as that blonde long haired girl kissing the guy in your avatar. What a nice surprise!

Well its only 8 weeks since that first pic & i promised you an update, here's Zara now. Scary huh? St Bernards grow at an amazing rate, she's at the chewing your fingers stage, like little needles piercing your skin, bloody sore & she's developing quite a stuborn personality, Andy's mum's going to have to be a lot firmer with her than she is now

HOLY COW!! Huge! I had a St. Bernard mix once. He ate me out of house and home and had to give him away to a 'richer' family. I hope your MIL has lots of ground for her to run in. Thanx for sharing
