Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,

for auld lang syne,

we'll take a cup of kindness yet,

for auld lang syne.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot

and days of auld lang syne?

And here's a hand, my trusty friend

And gie's a hand o' thine

We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet

For auld lang syne

I'll play. This is as near as I can manage to seasonal mirth at short notice...

When auld acquaintance take their leave

And wander out of sight

I raise a glass to Providence

For showing me the light

For auld lang syne, my dear,

For auld lang syne,

I'll shake my fist at folk like them

For auld lang syne.

Those auld acquaintance all presume

To tell me what to think

They'd drive me, saint or sinner, to

My grave or else to drink

For auld lang syne, my dear,

For auld lang syne,

Get rid of those that want your life

For auld lang syne.

Sorry Guys, I was hic partying. Great fireworks display here - awesome. It's 8:20 am New Year's Day - there are people asleep in the garden downstairs, the Sydney council are already cleaning up broken bottles and crashing about, boids is singing, the sun is trying to shine but it might rain which would be nice. Ooo.. I think there's some people snoring on me lounge room floor. ???? Wonder who they are? I think it was a good party...... the bagpipes have stopped playing, or was that just LC and Spot singing a duet.... I think I need coffee... hic

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna be a good one!!!

That's what Guy Lombardo & his band used to play every New years Eve at the stroke of midnight. Ah, the good old days! Dick Clark & or Ryan Seacrest "try", but are just not the same! (Going to a NYE house party soon, yeah!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR ONE & ALL!

One tries, Lululita!!! By my reckoning, your Rose Parade should be happening about now!!! I googled it. Star Wars theme. WOW. I did get to spend my New Year's Day at Manly beach and splashed around a bit. Very nice. Grin. And I did need the sunnies..

Birds don't smell things, huh? OK, that's my first bit of learning for 2007!!!
