Well, a couple days before new years eve, after writting in my journal I paused for a few moments to reflect on many things....I hated that I really had not achieved to much in 1996. 1996 was a very difficult year for me, a very stressful year. I made some decission's, some good, some bad...but it just seemed that even what I felt were good decissions, just rebounded in some ways towards bad. Bad for me, or badly effected others....that I hated the most!

But after some serious discussions w/family, new found friends, and obtaining a Holistic Practitioner, I went away for a brief spiritual retreat and successfuly came off of an anti-anxiety med. Since then I just feel better!! My Holistic Practitioner has made a great difference in my life. Every day I feel better about my self, my anxieties are fadeing, I have more self esteem, confidence, and self awareness of what I really want in life. I never really considered myself an unhappy person, just maybe unhappy w/some of my relationships. My life today is more joyful than it has been in years, since I have allowed myself, this new emotional freedom..that I hope to carry w/me into this beautiful brand new year.

I love that I danced into 2007, just full of wonderment, of all the possibilities that lay ahead for me....in this brand new year. I hate to look back, and I can't...it was very hard to close some of those doors, but I'm sure, very sure! that by doing so, its so much better for everybody!

Look whats happened since. He is in a war he doesnt want to be in and now he is resigning. You must be one hell of a erm uh woman.

Funny really but I don't see the point in all the hype over New Year. You go to bed one day then wake up the next, what's changed except the date but doesn't that happen every day.



If you have changes to make or challenges to meet that can happen at any time of the year, putting things off to wait for a new year is pointless.



I don't mean to sound negative because I'm not a negative person I just hate to see people wasting a chance to improve their life.



Perhaps for the new year we could all try to say yes more, yes to new opportunities, yes to new friends, yes to new experiences.



That's what I plan to do this year!

i love the new year....start looking forward to spring and planning and plotting my flower collection for this year....all my gardening books have started arriving...i will have my seed start stand up in february and be trying to raise my new babies for the year.....i love it....everday our dayliight gets two minutes longer.......
