Europe and other countries held three minnutes silence for the victims of tsunami at 12 Noon today.

In Southern Ireland, and not to upset the Roman Catholic Church !2 Noon Bell Ringing of prayer of the Angeles. The Irish government held their silence at 11am

that maybe so but they still held a silence ................ they showed enough respect to do so so why should it make a difference wat time of the day they do it

Still Ireland could have joined the rest at 12 Noon. Its the same when it comes paying respect to all the Ex Service Men who fought in WW1 & WW11. The UK has it on November 11. Ireland does it in July.

Now Ireland, does not want to commit our army to the EU Armed Forces. Such a country

that maybe so .... but in ther eyes i assume there against the british jhust as they are against them quit rightly 2...... and why should they send there men in to fight?

140,000 Irishmen died in the trenches during WW1. Many more joined the British Army and fought in WW11.www.greatwar.ie

Still many more are joining the British Army today. Two Dublin lads were killed in Iraq last year.
