Thanks, Cher. It's my daughter whose knee got broken. She's mending slowly. Will be in hospital for another week at least. Nice to see you!! You must be so busy! Anyway, having a five year old in tow is challenging!!! But he's such a sweet kid. It's his Dad's day off so I'll get a bit of a break today. I just got Dieter's school clothes sorted - he starts kindergarten soon and is so excited. I'm going to dress him up in all his finery for his Dad to see this morning - and will take pics.

Blueberry muffins, hand baked (got the mess in the kitchen to prove it!) :D

Grin. I'm all for that. Unbelievable!!!! It wasn't easy to swallow all the unmerited insults and taunts pm'd to me before, but I did it - as my bit towards the price of peace in our time. And it seems we're back to messes anyway. Sheesh. BUT, Ladies who wear crowns do not involve themselves in common brawling. :D It is beneath one's dignity. :yh_rotfl ... so bring on the coffee.. with cahones, bring on the cake. And let's party. I am not getting drawn into other people's disagreements ever again.

An akubra would be perfect, MrsK. I'm ditching my own set of tiaras and crowns for the moment too. One does not normally wear them to work on a Monday morning!!

Can I cut you a piece of orange, poppy seed cake, or would you prefer almond or pistacchio biscotti?

Clancy

I can relate to that MrsK. I usually add an extra kilo or two over Christmas, it comes with the festivities, but it falls off again in January. Actually, cake is not my downfall. More like Champagne and cheese, yes cheeeeeeese.... love it!!! I only have one size clothes, so no fall back position. If they don't fit, I'd hafta go nekkid.

Clancy, m'dear, I've no idea what an AKUBRA hat is, but I'm putting one gently on your head and passing you a cup of whatever cheer you'd enjoy. I'm sorry you've had poor health...you certainly don't deserve it! Nor do you deserve any of the unwarranted disrespect shown here.

AussiePam said "It wasn't easy to swallow all the unmerited insults and taunts pm'd to me before, but I did it - as my bit towards the price of peace in our time. "

Says a lot about the caliber of some members on this board, doesn't it?

In any event...I'd rather ignore them (and KEEP them on "ignore.") We'll all be happier when the children just fight among themselves.

Cake?

Clancy;516942 wrote: Thanks Mate , it's appreciated and thanks to all. I only post now when I can, and that includes the other sites I'm on. What at first thought was, Skeletal Muscular pain, has been diagnosed as , fibromalgyia in the collar bone area, neck line, high central chest area, and in both arms. The pain is constant, but variable. I get no respite from it, and pain killers despite their strength barely give mild relief on the better days.

My apologies , I wouldn't have known this thread was started had it not been for the other crap I'd been told of. Many thanks for your good wishes, and allow me to reciprocate. I wasn't sure if posting this health info would result in more crap being posted that I was looking for sympathy ....I'm not, and it's not my style. A few people knew, and I was fine with that as is was.

Like everyone else , I reserve the write to post when I want, and when I'm able. I do miss having fun with many of you, but recently the pain has been cripplingly bad, and another trip to the hospital was as recent as last wednesday. I also considered bowing out gracefully, but not on the whim of another member telling me to....and the most recent crap on the other thread wasn't the way I'd had in mind for myself to submit posts. If left alone, I'll post for fun because , unlike that other crud thread, I'd much rather be posting for fun when I get the chance.

All the best

Clancy
