Does anyone know about Bone Marrow testing???

My Mum has got to have her bone marrow tested tomorrow, to see if she can start her chemo treatment this week, does anyone know what they do and how they do it??? I don't feel that i can ask my mum, think she has enough on her plate at the moment

Here is a link, Suzy. My grandmother used to have hers tested every 6-12 months.

Thanks Chonsi, but i don't understand, from looking at that it means they are looking to see if she has cancer in her bones or blood, yet we've been told it's in her lymp glands in her neck, stomach and lung????

They will be looking to see if it is present in other systems of her body. I am praying for her, and hope everything gets a good result.
