When you have had too much too drink? Is it when you wobble when you walk, go to the toilet & want to go to bed rather than back to the party, stuff a kebab down your throat at lightening speed or what?
For me its usually going for a toilet break, once out of the atmosphere of the party, if i want my bed, im past it.

I always just know...Usually I know my limit and the only question that remains is whether or not I feel like pushing that limit...If I drink steadily I can drink alot to the point where I lose track of how much I drank...I once drank over a case by myself after I had started earlier in the day and felt like I only had about eight...When it comes down to just casual drinking I can drink as much as I want...
Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I began drinking when I was about 10. :wah: Well, shouldn't make that sound like I drank all the time at 10,..but I can remember putting beer in empty Pepsi cans so my brother wouldn't find out at the parties he threw...

K - did you ever dilute your parents bottles of alcohol? my brother once emptied my mums vodka bottle & filled it with water, when it came to light, he blamed me
25 years later he admitted it & everyone thought it was sooooo funny. Hmpffffff i got grounded for two weeks for that
Im still actually a bit pissed off about that :wah:

I usually get really warm and need to cool off and stop drinking...I can call ralph real easily...not a big drinker...so when I do have "adult beverages" there is a method to the madness...have to drink water in between and take my time...now that I quit smoking...oh no...I used to love to drink and smoke...oh well!!

Yeah, but we couldn't take much because my old man would get pissed off.
I remember one time diving into my grandmothers sink thinking a bottle of alcohol(disinfectant) was ethanol...

Any one or more of the following are good signs for me;
Get a headache
Get very sleepy
Believe that I am the most interesting person in the room and feel the need to chat to everyone non-stop
Face goes numb
Fingers go numb
Start to cry
Find everything really funny
Find talking really difficult
Have the urge to stagger across the floor and snog Johnny Vaughan (yes it happened oncre but by the time I got to where he was sadly he'd vanished)
Think that drinking absinthe is a really good idea.
I think I've shamed myself enough - just don't get me drunk, ever.

But not the Johnny Vaughan bit....
I don't like Johnny Vaughan either but I was very drunk and the only 'celebs' at this do were him and Bill Bailey and I don't fancy him either!!
It seemed like a good idea at the time!!
