I registered in Nov 2004.
It's an odd thing, actually. I rec'd an email notification that I rec'd a PM. It was a 'happy new year' email. Okay.
I rec'd another email shortly after from Spot. His was very nice as well. But he mentioned that other members fromm 2004 have been popping up as well?
Anyway...I'm going to try and be a bit more active:wah: . It looks very interesting here!

It's not quite like welcoming a newbie, more like meeting the ancestors. Tell us how different the place is, Dede, and I really hope you enjoy looking around and meeting all your descendants! This is far more exciting than just opening a time caspule.

That's a very large pair of shoes to fill! A time capsule!:wah:
I'm afarid I don't have much to offer. I registered, posted very little, and then became preoccupied with, well, life I guess.
I do know that I remember thinking that it moved very slow here, initially. Now it seems much quicker! There are many new boards as well. It's grown here, and that's exciting to see, and re-join.
Thanks for the gentle push as well, Spot!

Well, that's the province I'm in! I'm not familiar with Bakerbrook, but all I have to do is ask someone I know, and that 6 degrees of whoever will apply! We're a lightly populated province.
I like it here. The pace is nice and slow!

Actually...I can. One of my secret talents. The other secret talent is folding towels ever so properly.:wah:

I have a thing about folded towels.
What else happens in your part of Canada besides folk music?

Well, it's cold, most of the time. Winter finally arrived, and it came with a vengance! Bloody bitter I have to say! I'm going to focus on summer activities. There's only one or 2 things to do during the winter if you're a non-athelete like myself. :yh_wink
Well, we do what everyone does. The beach, boats (we're thinking of getting our very first boat this summer, a sailboat). My sister and her family sail all summer and they have a great time. We'd like to join them and see more of them.
We like our beer. We have good beer. Our famous beer, Alpine, is my least fav, but it gets high marks in the neighbourhood. Eh, everyone's a critic, including me.
There's plenty of community events that go on, and we (my little family and I) like to get to as many as we can. We garden, we BBQ.
We do have a music festivle in the summer, it's a big hit. One of my favorite Maritime bands, Great Big Sea, perform occasionally. They're a good show!
That's a wee bit about my part of the world. I'll share more in the future. Your turn; what's happening over there?
