All I saw/heard about this today was a tiny thread running across the bottom of the news channel. I thought, Are they Kidding?? That's all this guy gets??

I always had a crush on him as a kid growing up in the 60's and listening to the music. So sad. I didn't hear what the illness was. Do you know?

The initial radio reports I heard said he died after "a brief illness". No mention or hint of what it was.

That's what I heard too. I guess the family is being quiet on the subject. That's cool.

Local papers said he died of a kidney disease.
