I was in with the doctor again today, and he gave out to me for being an eegit (again), but he gave me an emergency pack thing with an adrenaline syringe and lots of drugs I can administer to myself if I take aspirin again by accident so that should be alright now. I will get one of those bracelet things again so they will know what the craic is if I go mental again and can't talk properly. I feel pretty much back to normal again, though I have to take some tablets for few days to wash everything out of my system, thanks everyone for your good wishes, and thanks to hammy, pinky, and the rest who were checking up on me that night, it was a rough one. Anyway, thats me news, so I feel pretty chipper now about it! :-6

Glad to hear you're all right again! :-6
I did wonder the other night why you didn't have any adrenaline in the house seeing as your allergy is so severe.
I'm popping down the anti-histamines now to try and stave off any reactions over the weekend. Other than that I don't take too many anti histamines any more thank god.

Thats good betty, take care of yourself. Well, it was never so bad before, I think it must get worse as you get older, so I didn't really realize how bad, and also being a man, of course we never think about such things until we are lying in casualty beside a man who just got dragged through a field by a horse, but I have copped on a bit since tuesday so I am taking precautions, and the doctor made me anyway, so there was nothing I could do bout it! Thanks pet, you have a great weekend! PICTURES! :-6

Look after yourself and you are gonna look sooooo pretty with a bracelet! :wah:
(get the pendant version instead....it's a bit more manly

)
Pendant, yeah that would be a bit less, you know (girlie), but feick it, whatever I am told to do I will do I suppose, they are very expensive actually, those bracelets, I never realized! 58 euros it costs, but its worth it I guess.

It gets worse with every exposure to it Galbally, nothing to do with age, also because you are avoiding the trigger it makes your body hyper-sensitive to it.
I'm sure we'll have a good weekend, and there will be no pictures of me! :wah:

You can get a variety of styles and they come in pendants, St Christopher's (with the info on the back and even in the form of a watch.
The pendant is about £28 I think. They have a website that you can order from. If you want the link let me know.
Yeah, fire away, thats still gonna be about the same when you convert to Euro's and the postage, but its good to have this type of info definetly!

I've an idea, 'BallyBob...why not have "aspirin allergy" tattooed on your chest? Then, in a pinch, you can RIP OFF YOUR SHIRT, guaranteeing you'll get attention...even if you're unconscious?
Perhaps the script could be artistic? Vines? Leaves? Berries? Celtic designs?
You needn't thank me, Dear....nothing's too much for you! :yh_kiss

Erm, yes, I am glad you picture me as a chest-shirt-ripping kinda dude, who can do anything, with DANGER ASPIRIN! Tatooed on me chest in Celtic design! Why let the truth get in the way of a good story thats what I say! :wah:
Thanks Lu! I shall remember to be suitably macho in future, and also as omnipotent as possible for someone with my issues. :-6

DR. G so glad to here you will be wearing a braclet and will have an emergency pack around. Excellent news so very glad your OK love..gave us a scare....:-4
You might also put a card in your wallet as well so there is notification for someone to find as well if you can't tell them. Be safe not sorry, Asprin alergies are very dangerous..

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea actually, the bracelet has a thing iside it written out by the doctor, but a card would be easy to get, and cheap as well. Thanks Carla. :-6

I did get badly mugged in Dublin once about 10 years ago, they had to hit my on the head with a brick in the end to get my money though (b8stards), I ended up in the A&E that night was well, I was a bit sore that time I can tell you, and boy there was a lot of blood! I will get the card then, it is a good idea and not difficult to do, but I am drawing the line at a tattoo, because look, its unlikely that someone would rob me at gunpoint (and they would need a gun after last time), take my pendant, my wallet and feed me some aspirin for good luck, we have mean people here, but not ironic criminals yet.

Good grief! I'm sorry you were mugged! That's terrible!
Last night I took an aspirin and thought about you, Galbally. It gave me pause to think a little pill has that much power. I'm glad you're feeling better and I'm really sorry you had to go through all that.
