A twelve year-old is making his way back from school, when a car toots it's horn an pulls level.

"Ere son, do you want a lift?" He looks at the driver in contempt, shakes his head, and carries on walking. Twenty yards down the road, he is pestered a second time.

"Got a bar of chocolate and twenty quid if you get into the car." After several more futile attempts to coax the child into his car, the boyboy's patience finally snaps.

"I'm sorry Dad, but you're your own worst enemy. I warned you, but you took no notice - you buy a Lada, you're on your own!"
