Imagine a world in which there was no United States
Imagine a world with no british, america would be spanish/french the protestant reformation would have died on the vine, macdonald's would be as corner shop on skye somewhere. There would have been no industrial revolution, no TV, radio, radar jet engines, no theory of evolution because the catholic church would not have allowed it, no oil industry so the middle east would not matter, no splitting of the atom.
Stop feeling sorry for yourselves, if you want to kid yourself that pre-emptive warfare will bring world peace and that the whole world owes you a debt of gratitude go ahead and do so just stop believing everybdy else should agree and wingeing when they don't.

Oh We would very much miss the British establishment in Ireland. Being here now over 700 years. Many here would be in tears seeing them leave Ireland. :driving:
