Off work this week

I have an unplanned, though sort of expected week off work this week.
As you know, I work as a personal assistant to Kim, a lady with a disability. Go into work with her. Anyway, her grandma died on Sunday, age 93. So Kim has taken the week off. :-1
She volunteers every day at the local Self Advocacy office....everyone there has a disability. So, I will be stopping at the office tomorrow to pick some of them up to drive them to the funeral. As most do not drive, there are 3 of us who are doing the driving for the funeral.
Grandma had bee ill with pneumonia since early January. She was in the hospital for a while, then released. Did not really get better at home, so went back into the hospital last week. But, though medically she appeared to be improving, she had pretty much lost her will and decided it was hr time to go..as she did not want to be a burden on her family. And she definatly did not want to go to a nursing home. They were going to plan hospice service for her, starting this week..but she did not make it.
