10 and 12, think thats half the problem, they think they are too old for a minder :-5 It's an awkward age, to old to go somewhere and too young to be left

They think they're too old

Mum thinks they're too young

Who knows best?

Who's ruling this show???

They're just testing you. They feel like they have a choice, and if they kick off that you'll give it up and stay at home.

This is your time now - you need to explain to them the 'other' reasons why you need to go to work, apart from the money. S is a sensitive soul, and will understand for sure.

Awww, Suzy I feel your pain deer...

It will be okay...mine don't have anyone to watch over them anymore, well, their 17 almost 18 year old brother, and I have neighbors that keep an eye out. But I had those days with the kids that they didn't want to go to a "babysitter "-what we call it, and that's even worse for kids past age 8...they ARE NOT BABIES!! (according to them, but always to Momma!)

I'm sending hugs and love your way....

As for the 46 year old baby...just slap a new diaper on him and put him in the corner...he'll be Alright!!:wah:
