I'm going to a bluegrass concert this weekend! With four other friends. Should be fun. Bluegrass is my favorite music so I'm really looking forward.

:wah: It's hillbilly music. Country music with an edge, a twist. Mountain music. Lots of banjo and fiddle. Look up Bill Monroe for a listen. He's still probably the best example.

It's good stuff once you get used to it. Some never do but I did and I've been hooked for 24 years.

Hee hee! You're worried about YOUR dancing? You haven't seen mine yet! I'm a true embarrassment. But sure, we could all go to a concert if any are playing- that would be fun!

red the last time i went dancing the paramedics were on standbye , saying things like dont swallow your tongue , deep breaths etc , i think they thought i was having an eppy fit

Well, this weekend is the same as all the others for me, I'm afraid. I usually get depressed on weekends in the midst of my boredom. That's particularly true when it's the dead of winter, such as it is now.

It's now just a little before daybreak on Saturday morning. I've been up all night again, such as I usually do. I guess in a couple of hours when a favorite coffee shop of mine opens, I'll go down and see if I might be lucky enough to become embedded in a great talk with anybody there, about one thing or another. I'm one of the regulars there, you see.

Beyond that, I don't know what else I'll do besides sleep...

Do you have Seasonal Affective Disorder? SAD? Just wondering. I have depression and have a lot of trouble either sleeping or not sleeping as the case goes. I think it sounds fun to have a coffee shop to hang out at.

Speaking of coffee shop, we have one here. Maybe all us morning people (or night people depending on where you live) could meet up there and start a new thing...? What do ya think?

Kumin, I'm sorry to hear that as I too have bipolar. I sure understand how the medication goes. I have to see my doctor asap as my medication is all out of order. Jus so you know, you're not alone.

This Saturday I shall be mostly sniffing and sneezing - I have a cold. But this evening we are going to a 50th birthday party - I'm hoping it won't be too smokey or I will add wheezing to the list!:wah:

That man flu is a pain, my mates been miserable for a couple of weeks now and then he had the cheek to tell me I gave it to him!

He hasn't got my cold, mine only lasted 24 hours!

I am doing laundry so anyone who wants to help come on over, my lil guy(hes 15) is visiting his father(he lives 3 streets up from me) we live in a tiny town, I am baking a homemade apple pie and making chicken soup.

I was thinking about feeding the cat.

We're going to finish putting chicken wire up around our yard.

We have Rabbits - any given time I'll have 20 rabbits running around in the yard.

They were cute when we first moved in - now they're a pain in the butt - they eat everything - mess..

Well today ive done something i havent done in MONTHS!! absolutely bog all!

got up at 10.30 (my turn for a lie in) oh and typical when its df turn to get up to littlelegs(who norm rises at 6am) she decides to rise at 11.30!!!! this NEVER happens....tomorrow its my turn so of course she will spring out of bed at 5.30am no doubt...anyway i digress...SO i had brekkie then lazed about all day, i didnt even hoover! and i ALWAYS hoover...im such a rebel today :rolleyes: df is off to bath LL now so i shall be partaking in a nice glass of red while i attempt to catch up here

and bringing up the rear.... Minks.... gosh I am barely out of bed and you all are well into your day.

I was going to go to a "cake walk" till I discovered it's ... ummm tomorrow so am just trying to think how I will amuse myself til dinner time. I have a dinner and a movie date this eve... I should go clean something in the mean time...argh.

ahahaha you too my dear.

Well....I did a bit of shopping this morning....played a bit of PS2, looked after lewis this afternoon....he's poorly poor love, had a lovely beef casserole with Lewis mum and Dad...came home and watched SHREK and now i'm watch dancing on ice....
