This is Gail Porter before & after hair loss. She was on tv last night & my partner said - she used to be sexy. I (a bit irritated) said why isent she now, just because she's lost her hair? He denied this of course, i thought about how a loss of confidence can make you less sexy & would put it down to that but in all fairness to Gail after the initial horror of losing her hair she has consistently showed off her head quite proudly & not worn scarves or wigs, this shows confidence. I put this to my partner & said - it must be the hair loss thats putting you off her. He's irritated at this & says its not true she just lost the wow factor, but it seems quite obvious to me that her hair was a wow factor for him. What say you?

I am going to be honest and say that women with very short hair like a no 1, or bald women, may look interesting, but not very attractive to most men, also long hair as a general rule more attractive on women than short hair, and thats just the way it is. Like the way a six pack is more attractive than a 46 inch beer gut no matter how nice or cool the man is.

Personally, I think she's beautiful in both pics, her face is still beautiful....Hair does change the appearance, but of course what's inside counts. As far as the attractive factor, she is an attractive woman in both pics IMO...

I think for a women to lose hair is very traumatic, my Mum is going through chemo and has now started wearing her wig, she said she'd sleep in it if she could, as she feels so bad about the hair loss. I think that the women that have the confidence to be bald and not cover up are very sexy, after all a women with confidence is sexy IMO.

I don't think she looks sexy at all in the second picture, in fact I don't think she looks much at all.
I don't think this is down to the hair though. It's down to her confidence. For all the wonderful PR done for her on this subject, I really dont see that she has confidence and feels attractive at all.

I've always found bald women attractive if they've got a pretty face, ever since I saw that girl in the first Star Trek film. I think Gail Porter looks great and it can't be easy having to change in the public glare so fair play to her. These days baldness in men and women seems far more acceptable than ever. I mean...would you really wanna see Jimbo with a perm?

wax on.......wax off........
No really IMO she looks like a total hornbag in the first pic but the second one whilst she obviously hasn't been hit with the ugly stick she looks more like a store mannequin from M&S and way too much makeup!

It seems to me that in the first pic she is trying too look sexy. The second pic she is not putting as much effort into looking sexy. Well they both worked.

I really must read thread titles properly - I thought you were asking for sex and hair!:wah:
But to the point of the OP, personally I think sexy is something from within more than outside although I think she looks happier with hair, happier not sexier.

I think the only thing that makes her not sexy in the second picture is her lack of confidence! and ps. dont shave your mans head! my husband shaved his once-military- and he looked like a giant penis! not cute!:wah:

I have to agree with ya Kram, baldness is more accepted today, but not 100% yet. I believe baldness is a tough thing for anyone to have to go through.

I had a colour change last week, and it feels fab! I got fed up of it being my natural colour.
Hey Pinks, I'm thinking of dying my hair brown...what do you think?

She looks beautiful in both imo.
I was thinking about this last week when i saw her on tv, i always find it strange that ladies should be mocked for having no hair and deemed to be unattractive by both sexes.
Alopecia must be a terrible thing for a woman, she's had this condition for a few years now and no sight of her hair returning.
What makes her attractive in my eyes is her bravery, it cant have been easy for her being a tv presenter.
