I'm going to do something that i abhor, i apologise in advance.



I received an email of a past member telling me that a member of this forum had said i'd been bad mouthing her!

I dont like to blow my own trumpet but i always thought i was quite unassuming.

Here's the thing, this so called "friend" wont tell me who this liar is and it's left me angry.



Guess i should stay in the arcade with floppy and somebody, at least i stay out of trouble there. :rolleyes:

I don't see the point of telling someone such a thing and leaving the name blank. Sounds like you're best off assuming there was a bad translation along the way. With half a story the most you can do is half believe it.

Are you sure this former member is not stirring the pot? Why would a friend tell you someone said something and then not say who or what?

I dont know who the past member is you are referring too but ask yourself - are THEY known for stirring trouble? if the answer is yes - well there you have it

I've asked her twice now and no answer, i've now told her not to mail me again.

I'm really pissed off about it.

For what it's worth - if a name is given then it can be checked. With no name you have to take your "friend's" word for it.

Who gets what out of it - 'cos it doesn't seem friendly to give you grief with no recourse.

the absurdity is that the two emails do not support each other. If she didn't want a problem with this person who supposedly exists (:wah: ) then she would tell the person that she wasn't comfortable hearing you talked about.

Telling you what she did makes it worse. She created two problems. (Except we know the first one doesn't really exist)

That says the person is pretty spineless in that respect as well as not naming the other person. I mean really.
