Why do some threads have yellow star ratings? what does it mean?
Example - the thread anything random goes here has 5 little yellow stars on my screen.

Look towards the top where you started this thread. It has a place to rate the thread. 5 stars is the best a thread can get.

Yes, it's the members who rate a thread.

I have occasionally rated a thread - it would be nice if the thread rating could be seen before reading the thread - might this be a possible FG enhancement?
What does the left-hand column (when viewing all threads) that looks like an envelopw with a plus sign on it mean?

I THINK it means there are new posts that you have not read.
