I left once for 4 months. I stayed in touch with many people through e-mail, msn, other forums & my space but i missed this place.

I leave every evening and to the dissapointment of most I return every morning, except for weekends.

but if you're asking people if they've left or are thinking about leaving it's obviously going to be that they did it because of something negative going on??

Oh for crying out loud its a poll, Hamster is not the only person who has left here & for the record Gal im not going anywhere either.

I have left a couple times, never deleted my account but have stayed away for spells for a number of reasons.

RL becomes to overwhelming and the emotions from this place were adding to my stress.

RL keeps me away

At one time I left because I felt my own negativity was a bit of a blight on FG, I had to get out of that funk. I know I lost a bit of respect back then, but I came back head held high when I realized... I am what I am. I can't make everybody happy, and I accept those I have pissed off.

I've never left the Garden, although I do post less often than I used to. I found that it takes a lot of energy to stay really involved with FG every day. I've pulled back a little bit, but mostly because my work schedule is a bit difficult.

It's funny; I've been here about 9 months (Pinky and Marie and I joined at about the same time ), and I've seen a lot of people come and go (and some come back again). It makes you realize that so many things are cyclical.

I try my best to enjoy *whomever* is here at any given time. We're all passing through each others' lives, and if we can leave something wonderful with someone (or get something beautiful from someone), then that's pretty much all you can ask for.

Never left, (Still here 2yrs-4mos) it's the one & only major forum that (when I do go to forums) I most frequently visit! Have seen it all, the ups & downs, but FG is still # 1!



Lately some People delete their accounts & just all out quit! That's kinda rash IMHO, it's hard to understand. Why don't they just kinda take a respite if need be, but why do they have to "delete" their accounts! Then after they finally recuperate, (and they will) it's kinda somewhat humbeling/awkward for them to come back, using their "old known" name.

I left once... didnt delete my account. I was insulted, horrified, paranoid,and

mentally confused. I would handle it differently. now.

I'm with you on wondering why people delete their accounts? Why don't they just take a break if needed. If your on the phone & the conversation is done, you hang up, or do you pull the phone cord out of the wall, or throw the phone in a river?

Reminds me of the movie NETWORK - I'm mad as hell & I won't take it anymore.

Hopefully some will come back - I'll be here, for what its worth.

Same here, only been here a few months and still loving it, i get spells where ill be awol for weeks at a time but thats just when 'real life' beckons and i need a break for whatever reason, im sure ill always come back i like this forum a lot.

I have taken short breaks now and again, but that is it. Even when I have nt posted, I have checked in daily.
