I found this band called the Black Summer Crush..there from orange county in California..there a mix of classic rock to modern..they have classic rock influences of led zeppelin, jimi hendrix, the who, and lenny kravitz..theyre really good..check them out!

Also in the same vein check out, Los Straitjackets. I'm pretty sure they're from the U.S., but I can't say where they're from more specifically than that.

If you were ever a Ventures fan, you'll like Los Straitjackets. I think they write their own music, but they do everything in a surf style of music.
