I wrote my congresswoman concerning a proposed bill she introduced concerning taxing cosmetic procedures. I dont give a rats ass about cosmetic surgery or whom has to pay what to get it done. My concern is this idea they throw around about taxing us for this and taxing us for that. :-5 :-5 :-5

I would question that they are, income tax is as sure as death. User taxes are optional.

I'd rather propose doing away with income tax and taxing people purely on what they consume. It would be a lot harder for the wealthy to scam the system that way.

Its everything koan. They tax us for everything, its their only solution. Theyre talking about placing devices on our cars and taxing us at the pump for mileage now. The point is start managing the $ we have and learn to live within the budget. How much is enough on income tax ? 50 %0 % 60 % Its getting closer all the time.

I should note once again they voted in a per diem increase of over $100.00 a day for themselves. Behind closed doors and without our knowledge of course.

The only way to avoid it is to incorporate and do contract work.

Then get a good accountant.

Also, don't consume more than you need. Government hates non-consumers. I like annoying the government.

The proper method would be to make a very loud very clear statement in the voting booth and then follow up with very loud very clear notices that we want referendums on issues and for them to know they dont have a free ride.

Dear Congressperson,

As someone who presumably entered government to contribute to the shaping of our society I find myself questioning what sort of society you have in mind. Your recently proposed bill to tax cosmetic procedures, as yet another form of taxation on the people, indicates that you are in support of furthering the divide between the rich and poor. A large part of the consumer industry that infuses the economy of our country is based upon the desire for youth through beauty products and cosmetic surgery. That you would add to the expense of these procedures that not only support our economy but perpetuate the myth that all Americans are beautiful and affluent tells me that you are not committed to our country at all but seem to be a slave to the idea that taxation will somehow pay for the monstrous debt our government has accumulated.

I don't mind paying your tax if you would like to actually provide some sort of social security and raise the standard of living for the people who pay your wages. I look forward to a better thought out plan for saving your collective asses.
