Daniel Radcliffe has been getting some good exposure lately :yh_giggle
but what of the final Harry Potter book? I'm looking forward to it.
This summer, on July 21 — exactly 10 years since the release of the first book — the seventh and final part in the series will be released worldwide. To be sure, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows guarantees the Harry Potter Withdrawal Club one final hit. After the shocking events of the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, fans are going crazy over how everything will be solved in a novel smaller than the Encyclopedia Britannica. Undoubtedly, tears will fall as the final chapter unfolds. Ten years of wands, hippogriffs, Muggles, and Quidditch will culminate. It will be the end of an era; it will be, in the words of Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs, “Mischief managed.

I can't wait.
I love the books, it's so nice to be able to read them with my kids and watch them enjoying them.
I'm a bit sad and keep an eye out on JK's website as to when her study door is open so we can get clues.
The HP books has really ignited my daughters love of reading, we go to the library every week now so she can stock up on books.

Who do you think is going to kick the proverbial bucket?

I think Peter Pettigrew will, he owes Harry so somewhere alongthe line he might kick the bucket.
Either that or Hagrid or Mr Weasley...

It's supposed to be a lead character.
What are the options?
Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Snape (but we wouldn't be that upset, would we), Ginny... the list gets more and more minor as we go.

I think both Harry and Voldemort will die.
Voldemort - well, he's just got to.
Harry - because it will prevent any other writers picking up where JK left off and it would be a suitable heroic sacrifice for Harry to make.
I love these books!

Makes sense.
Except Voldemort started out dead. In the magical Potter world, death is not necessarily final.
If they brought Buffy the Vampire Slayer back Harry isn't even safe in the afterworld.

That would make Harry nice and morose... just the way we like our heroes.
I'll buy that. I'm on the side of Ron biting the dust.

Ah yes but Voldemort wasn't completely dead because he had put parts of his soul in horcruxes to safeguard against death.
My theory is that Harry will find and destroy all the horcruxes bar one, which will turn out to be Harry himself who will then have to sacrifice himself to ensure that Voldemort can never return again.
(Can you tell I don't sleep much!!!)

Aha!
That works perfectly.
Though I still say they can bring him back if they want to badly enough.

Ok so they say there are 7 horcruxes.
1. Tom Riddle's diary - destroyed
2. Marvelo's ring - destroyed
3. Slytherin's locket - to be found
4. Hufflepuffs cup - to be found
5. Nagini - to be found
6. Voldemort himself - one part remains in him
7. Something belonging to Gryffindor
The only item left belonging to Gryffindor I think is the sword which Harry already used in Chamber of Secrets.
Could Harry be the last horcrux? I know that in order to make a horcrux you have to commit murder, so maybe Voldermort did this when he killed Lilly or James?
Or maybe I need to get a life and stop being a conspiraloon?:D
Is the last word of book 7 still going to be 'scar' do we know?
