I heard something in the background about a guy dismembering his wife so I googled it. Seems theres a lot of that going on these days. Whatever happened to going out for smokes and never coming back ?

There was an article bout this in Playboy or Penthouse can't remember which. But apparantly this couple was famous in New Olreans for camping out in the French Quarter during Hurricane katrina. :-2

I don't know what the deal is, Nomad. Seems like divorce is too easy for some of these induhviduals. Read some Ann Rule books back to back and see if you can last without having to go to your "happy place." It's amazing what people will do to each other in the names of love, hate, greed and life insurance. Like the clown who put his wife through the wood chipper because she wanted a divorce. They found her because of two of her teeth.

Novelty, I don't agree with you there. People may view murder like a train wreck but I don't think they "enjoy" it. If anything, a normal person has a morbid fascination with what we are capable of doing to each other but I don't think enjoyment is the word. These things have been going on way before Gein too. Recall Albert Fish who in the 30s, swiped a girl from her parents after befriending them all and ended up cooking her for dinner Complete with butt roast and carrots and potatoes. Now THAT is a special sick. He wrote the parents a letter saying she died a virgin. As long as there have been humans, there has been sickness. Always will be.

I think this illustrates why its vital, vital people, that when choosing a mate, you go for good character, decency and easy-goingness instead of the more obvious: large breasts, heart shaped face, doe eyes, or for a woman looking for a man: BMW, big job, large bank account, its a tricky one, cause when people meet, often its MUUURDA! :wah:

Thank goodness there are more so called ##NORMAL## humans than there are weirdo's like the above.

I couldn't imagine anyone being so sick to act the way some of the above have acted.

I know there are sicko's out there but I prefer to think there are more good than evil.

You know, there is an oldish English saying, and it goes, "There's nowt queer as folk" and its as true in 2007 as it ever was, because no matter what happens in the world, the one constant is that people do not change, and they are the same now as 5,000 years ago, so yes, the world can be a strange and scary place, and there are some very bad people or sick, or malignant people in it, but thats the way it always has been, if it wasn't we wouldn't have these words we use from a long time ago to describe them, (know what I mean?), the words come from somewhere, so malice, evil, hate, jealousy, rage, cant, spite, all these things, they are old old things.
