"Comprehending Engineers Logic"

To the Optimist, the Glass is half Full!

To the Pessimist, the Glass is half Empty!

To the Engineer, the Glass is "twice as big as it needs to be" :D

An engineer, a physicist, and a mathematician were travelling from England to Scotland by train, when through the window they saw a black sheep standing in a field. The engineer said "Look! Scottish sheep are black!". The physicist said "Well, at least one Scottish sheep is black". The mathematician "Well - there is at least one field in Scotland which has at least one sheep in it, which is black on at least one side" !

"Comprehending Engineers Locic" - Take Two:

What is the difference between "Mechanical Engineers" & "Civil Engineers"?

Mechanical Engineers build Weapons, Civil Engineers build "Targets"! :-2

"Comprehending Engineers Logic"- Take Three:

Three Engineering students were gathered together discussing the possible designers of the "human body". One said, it was a "Mechanical Engineer, just look at all the joints. Another said no, it was an Electrical Engineer, the nervous system has many thousands of "electrical connections". The last said, actually it most definitely had to be a Civil Engineer. Who else would run a toxic waste pipeline through a recreational area? :D

These are really funny!!

Although it's not nearly as funny... I used to work in a company that had

quite a few engineers... and they developed a term for a strange

phenomenon... seems that every so often, when workers would call

them to fix something, they'd arrive only to find out that there was nothing

to fix, the workers couldn't re-create what had been going wrong! So

their phrase was: Engineering Proximity Effect. Closer the engineers got

to the site of the problem, the more likely it was to be gone!
