It appears that I am after owing you a pint. Fine that, but you'll have to wait a bit. I'm still feeling a wee bit fragile.

My Gawds man - youse Irish know how to celebrate a narrow squeak!

Yes, it was a close thing, we were not great to be honest. But we won the Triple Crown so hence the celebrations, I also have to say we owe England a collective pint as they had a fantastic result against France today, and that puts us, them, and France all tied for the Six Nations title this year, great stuff, we have to play Italy (which is not as easy as it used to be). I shall have a pint of McArdles Scottish Stout like I had in Inverness one time, and it was very nice stout as well I must admit! :-6

You all are waisting your windless breath...The United States is going to win the one that really matters in September, so I really don't know what all of the harmonious glut is about...

You'll all not even be suitable for dog meat when we get done with you. :wah:

You know, you really shouldn't have said that, I will pass on your comments to Eddie O Sullivan and the Irish team, so they can make a special example of you come September. Hehehehehe. :wah:

Oh, I don't think there's much anyone of them can do...They might as well start taking their medicine now. :wah:

Oh lord, you really are cruising for a bruising aren't you. Well to give you a little example, in Saturday's game, one of the Scottish players apparently went a little too far and tried to strangle one of the Irish players after punching him in the throat and almost breaking his neck, this was all off camera, so the Irish player passes out and stops breathing for a little while, while he has a little rest on the ground, so the Irish physio comes on and gives him artificial resuscitation, now, did that player go off the pitch?, were there helicopters waiting to rush him to hospitals full of movie stars, was he hooked up to a big machine?, was he given 20 kilo's of drugs?, did anyone even notice? No, he got a couple of slaps to make him breathe again and wake him up, he got up, was pointed in the direction of the match, went back, grabbed the ball of someone and scored the winning points, end of story, he got a pat on the back at the end.

These are the men your team of whoevers will be up against in September, so you better start booking your early loser flights back to Atlanta early as they are cheaper that way. :wah:

Actually Gally, the Murcans have a word for this:- They call it "friendly fire".

But you're damn right about the the difference between American "Football" and Rugby. In Rugby, you only get stretchered off if both your legs have torn off, in "Ha-Ha Football" the stretcher turns up if you break a nail.

More money involved in All Star athletes.

I would much rather see the game be delayed if someone gets hurt...There was a guy on our team here in Cincinnati that broke his neck early in the season...I would much rather see the game stop so that they can get the attention they need so that they don't die on the field, all to lay claim as to who's tougher. because to be quite honest, I've seen some vicious hits in both styles of each game.
