How can you tell when someone wants you to be jealous of them?

Just saying that Darren does not necessarily mean they want you to be jealous of them. Could you possibly be jealous or envious without them wanting you to be? Give them the benefit of the doubt and complement them on their "rare things". There will aways be those that have more than we do, are smarter, funnier, more interesting. How we respond to that is our problem and not theirs.

To be jealous requires you wanting what they have to the point that you stop liking being yourself. It would be a good goal to reach a point where you can't be jealous of anyone.
