Kabul's chaotic roads are used to plodding camel-carts,smoke belching trucks and jeeps packed with armed men threatening road rage.
Now they have a new and more exotic sight 'WOMAN" women drivers.
A few brave females have shed their burkhas to venture iisto the driving seat, for decades the ultimate preserve of the macho Afghan male, thanks to the tuition of a mechanic turned instructor who has opened the city's first driving school for ladies.
Delawar Mamozai hit upon the revolutionary idea of teaching women to drive several years ago, and after teaching just one lady in the the first two years of his venture he has seen a flood of students in the last while.
"It's not easy for women to learn how to drive in Kabul", he admitted in his little classroom with dismembered engine parts and road signs pinned to walls as teaching props.
"They feel embarrassed and shy when they start, and receive a lot of whistles. People shout at them, and drivers try to block the cars with their own vehicles. It takes some courage for a woman to go out on the road for the first time, and its against Islam." Women should be submissive to Man. Do women's stuff, like tending to the home and children, not out on the roads looking for something new.

Tending the home and children ect

After reading more and more about how women are treated in this world I wouldn't teach them to drive, I'd teach them how to shoot!!!!!
OLD SAYING FROM THE AMERICAN WEST---GOD CREATED MAN AND SAM COLT (inventor of the colt 45) MADE THEM EQUAL

If women didn't drive, we men would have to take all of the responsibility for the madness on the roads. As it is the madness is because of the women :wah: .

Does an objective look reveal good results? I wonder how far women and society have actually advanced or if there has been advancement at all. Just trying to spice things up a bit. :sneaky:
