I just got Windows Vista today and i have to say i love it,its far better than XP and looks much better aswell

I bought my Vista CD from Play.com and then downloaded a pack thing which transformed the whole system

I have Vista at work, they just gave me a new computer with it on it....I work at a Computer IT company so ummm, have heard both about the program, some love it some hate it. I think its fine and dandy!!

Wait to you go to email stuff and you can not, try to hook up printer, you have to download drivers if they have them, you will run into problems with it. I do like it, but to many problems still. I had to buy a new printer. Everytime I put something new in, I am on the phone with them, they have to download patches, so the program will run.

Do you still have loads of memory on your computer as it must take up a lot of memory to download?

I really did not have a choice but to get vista, I bought a new computer and it comes with it. Has a lot of memory. I do like graphics on it better. My other computer was 8 years old. Still have it. I think by next year, they will have the bugs worked out, that is what all the schools are saying.

Yeah i have tones of memory left

Go to Microsoft and download the program that will check your puter to see if it can take Vista , it will tell you if it needs things done , I checked mine and all I got to do is Remove Norton System Works

I use AVG

As for Vista I am not a fan so far only just started using it and it seems to over blown to me. Everything seems to take longer to do, an extra mouse click or another folder to open. so far it seems like they have just added a pretty layer on top that you have to get past to do anything. Will give it a week or so before I make my mind up.

As with every new version of Windoze, you need to double your memeory to get your speed back.
