I thought I would just put some pictures up to let some of you know what it is I am doing when I say I'm going to the race car shop...

As some of you know our race team has been working on our latest project which has been my fathers race car, and while we built it quite similar to the one prior we have made significant changes to this particular cars setup...

We went with a setup that is run more so by the Nextel Cup cars and will be waiting to see how that all pans out...My father says this car is going to be faster than the old one, but considering he broke the 50 year old track record at Kilkare Speedway in 2004 I am definitely interested in seeing what this thing can do...

Niiiiiice paint design! I wish I could comment on the car itself but being ignorant about that stuff I can't. I can tell you what my eyes like though.

I decided to take a picture of the shop from the inside...

It's never really that congested...

In the first picture we have our two race cars to the back and to the left...Mine is in another section of the building...

It looks quite large. That one picture looks like my computer desk.

It was nice of you to make this post. I've been wondering what all y'all do there.

We're not really finished with it at this point but it's very close...

We still have to put the front grill on and the decals weren't on it yet in that picture...

Thanks,..I wish I could say it was mine, but I can't...It's my fathers...:wah:...

Mine has a little different body scheme to it, but it doesn't really matter to me...I just happen to think this car looks pretty sharp...

Yes, yes it does...which is what has been holding me back...

I bought my truck that I needed last year, but I still need a trailer to haul my race car...That and sponsorship would go a long way...

Yeah I have a few more, but being computer illiterate I am trying to figure out how to get them on here...I have been able to download a free transfer software and was able to transfer the Bip images to jpg so that I could use more space...

I will try and get pictures of our old ARCA cars on here but I have to scan those as they are well over 20 years old...

What will you be doing there today? :-6

A family friend who has his own Deck Company...He does great work actually...Builds alot of decks for large commercial businesses...

I never really know until I get there...

My father and brother are the ones who mainly do all of the work...I fabricate and things like that, but as far as the technical stuff I leave that up to them...

I know we still have alot of little things to do to it like more decals and outlining some of the windows, but we still have to set the chassis and do some minor tweaks before my father can race it...

Soooo, when you become rich and famous ...will you still talk to us??

I would love to come to a race, never have been...have friends that get into it, I never have....but think it's interesting...

Your pictures are cool - takes me back when my nephews raced.

As you know racing is very expensive - I think my nephews loved the experience and out grew that adventure.

My nephew is now into his music / band - loves it and is on tour and doing real well.

My brother in law retired - we're all still intrigued and drawn back into racing from time to time.

Very cool, do you race locally - or from state to state etc.??

Absolutely...

It's alot different when you see one live...Something about being stuck behind a tv doesn't give anything justice...

I'm quite sure you would probably love to see a live race...The atmosphere is electric...Wish you didn't live so far away I would take you sometime...:yh_wink...

Sorry Patsy...I don't know how I missed this post...

We race generally in Ohio...We have been affiliated with racing all across the midwest though...My brother works on a Hooters Pro Cup Circuit car that tours mainly across the Eastern part of the country...

We don't know what the future has to bring, but if given the chance I would definitely tour the country racing...

Yeah I knew it was a modified...but there are all kinds of modifieds...

It just didn't really look like a standard eastern modified...

The number 7 cars first time out on any track at KilKare Speedway...

We aren't going to be racing here at Kilkare although we did take it out for hot laps to get as much practice as possible as it's brand new and was just rolled out of the shop...
