Do You Use Google Earth?

Scrat had a post about this earlier this year, but if you haven't seen it, it's well worth the free download.

No reason now for anyone with a computer to not know the location of Sri Lanka, Somalia, Tasmania. It won't be long before we will have live time satellite images available, just like the spy agencies.

I love that site..i use it all the time...my boyfriend travels alot and when he tells me where he is i go check the place out on earth....

I myself like to use Worldwind for things I wish to see within the US...

It has alot of other features besides just the satellite view...

Last night I looked at the gardens at Versailles Palace in France. They were beautiful, looked like pieces of fabric.

It is fun....I "google earthed" my old neighborhoods, where my kids live and ofcourse, where I live now.

But, if you play the Sims game as I do sometimes, you want to double-click and go inside the home as you can do in the game.:)

I used it a couple of years ago, it's great. Takes up a lot of space though so I deleted it eventually. It's real clever though.
