I can't believe any free people allow corporations to run private armies. IMO the only armed forces in the country should be those sanctioned and controlled by the elected govt of the day and nothing else. It's like something out of a sci fi movie with secret armies behind the scenes not answerable to the govt of the day..

Just curious to see what the Americans think of this. Whether they are happy to allow this or not.

Ill have to read this. Its news to me. Not mercenaries per say but organized govt sanctiond pay day is every other Friday mercenaries Im unaware of.
