You survived? You're shocked?

Use to love thunder storms, the badder the better. Now, since the surgeries, I feel them in advance, it stinks! Sometimes, I can't even move to watch them. Oh well.

I love watching storms roll in. Don't care much for the sky to ground lightning when it gets overhead but the rest is great.

That refers to trees which are growing by themselves, not to copses or forests. It's basic commonsense, you wouldn't shelter under an electricity pylon.
