This something i feel i can share with FG.Do any of believe in ghosts or seen any or even had some thing happen and not sure why?

My dad died 7 years ago and the week that he died i had to look after him while my mum went out shopping.May i just say i did not know he was to die that week:-1 i was sitting there and we where watching TV when all of a sudden my dad said "look there is shelley" ,shelley being my daughter of course how could it been has my daughter was at home!! he said she kept on saying "come on grandad come with me".

By now i was getting a little bit worried i asked dad has he seen shelley before this and he said that every night for about a mth she has sat on his bed and stroked his face.Well sadly dad took a turn for the worse on the wed of that week and had to go into hospital.My sister and i went to visit him and i was sitting on his bed and again he looked past me and said that again shelley was at the bottom of the bed asking him to go with her and he kept on seeing flies around her,which that is something i could not quite understand.

On thurs we where all called to dads bed side ahs he was slipping by,i didnot take shelley has i felt it would upset her far to much,i was stroking dads hand when he said something but i could not hear so i got closer and he said "is it time for me to go yet? with i knew that this would of been the last time i see my dad

I had a phone call friday 18th Aug to say my dad has passed away early that morning,i was heart broken.What this leading to is that shelley was one of a twin and my first husband and myself did not my parents about the lost.Thank you all so much for reading xxx

Neffy, I do not know much about this sort of thing - there are probably some here that will be able to explain it better, but from what I have heard and seen myself I think these things. I believe that when it is our time to go someone we love or have close links with comes to help us pass over. I also understand that twins have a very strong almost telepathic link that is difficult to explain. And finally, i am guessing if your Dad died 7 years ago that would put Shelly (and her sister) in their early teens - a very sensitive time of our lifes, which makes us more open to new experiences and stronger emotions.

I could be talking a load of trosh, I would be interested to see what others think.

i must just say pheasey i lost shelleys twin when i was 3 and half pregnant.Thank you for your reply yes we will chat very soon

Neffy, first let me say I am sorry for your loss, and yes I do beleive what you say is true, and I do beleive that your dear father did see the twin that you lost.

When i was 13 years old my best friend (we lived out in the country) lived two houses down, I had a dream so real that I awoke in the night and imediately fell asleep and again my friend was there, in the morning my mother was awake and on the phone with someone, she came and knocked on my door and I said mom I have had a horrible dream (tears ran down my face ) I said I dreamed last night lisa was killed on her bike, and I cant shake this scary sad feeling, she held me and said Robin, that was Lisas mother on the phone, she was killed by a drunk driver late last night on her bike. I have also had other things happen, I feel it is god preparing me for bad news. Call it what you will, I beleive!!!!

I truly beleive that your father is at peace and happy.

I've not personally experienced anything like this, but I don't say it can't happen. Too many others have related their experiences, and these were rational, mentally healthy people who were steadfast in their belief of what they had seen and/or heard.

Kind of like life on other planets. Don't know if there is, but I surely can't say that there isn't, you know?
