Hah I am no big fan of "monday" I'll have you know! And today is no exception.

I was messing around with my alarm clock last nite and set it for my usual wake up time and blissfully went to sleep.

This A.M. rolls around and off goes the alarm, and as for my usual ritual I hit the snooze button 2 times then finally I open my eyes and clear the morning brain fog and notice it's looking rather bleak out there.

I have this nagging sense of some kind of pending "badness" and think to look at my watch, ... to my surprise I am an hour early, doubting my watch I reach over for my cell phone and double check the time and yep you got it, I messed up the time on my alarm clock it's an hour early.... BUT.... can I get back to sleep for that precious missed hour noooooo no not at all, not until about 15 minutes before the real time to get up, then I am groggy and foggy and none to chipper.

Yep I love mondays I love mondays, ah to heck with that chant..... I don't wanna be here.

Anyone else love Mondays?

hehehehe

I slept for 18 hours yesterday, due to a wonderful migraine...and then I couldn't sleep last night. I was on Skype until 2am which was great! But, when I went to bed, my son had gone to lay down earlier that evening and yep, he was there for the night...this is a BIG boy we are talking about...so I got to sleep for 4 hours with his knee in my back...I would try to move him, I would've probably been able to move Mt. Everest easier!! So, needless to say, I'm in the fog this morning too. Thankfully the job is non-stressful and I can "chill"...but I feel your pain...

lol its okay, I checked my computer clock after reading your post and it confirmed that today is indeed Monday.

After reading this thread, I feel quite wholeheartedly that this is but one solution...we must petition our respective goverments and implore, no.. demand, that they change the name "Monday" to "Funday" and make it part of the weekend.

and nothing short of perhaps getting time and a half and a two hour paid lunch break will persuade us to any different.

Our kids go back in August, but we had snow days and my all time favorite "A Raining too hard" day to make up.:-5 :-5
