On behalf of FG, I would like to request a "Gallery" forum. Where members can post pics of themselves and/or families and pets etc.

However, we would like this forum to be for pictures only, comments in another thread.

Is this a possibility?

Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

I second that idea. I think the original works well as a photos only and I can put a link to a commentary thread in the opening post. It's a lot of work with a thread that size though so we'll get a team together.

Let the mods start the commentary thread. We can move all the existing comments from the original.

It's a hard call what to move with so many joke photos posted too. If you see one you think is in the wrong place just say which thread and the post number and I can fix it. This will probably take a day or two though.

Great idea but I would personally like to see the Album Mod added, then we can all add our own folders for our pics for people to comment and laugh at.

We used to have that.

I'm assuming it was removed for a reason.

That's an assumption however and may be wrong. Tombstone might have just gotten drunk and said "Hell with the albums!! Dammit."

Ok, the Photo thread now has a commentary thread companion to it and all the comments have been moved... I think.

There is a link to the commentary thread in the first post on the photo thread now so it is easy to find. I tried to decide on which posts to move by whether or not they were real photos of either members, their relatives, homes, etc. If the photo was lifted from a google search or such then I moved it as a comment. The idea is that people perusing the thread want to just see the real photos. If I've missed moving something or moved a post that should have been left please let me know and I'll correct it.
