Honestly, I'm not making it up.

To Balmoral back she should head, in my opinion.

Nothing the matter with it is. Good English it appears to be, yes. Happy for the Queen I am. A new style of speech have I adopted when in future the public I address.

Prejudiced? Me? I'm a fervent supporter of the monarchy, I'd hate to see it changed in any way. I'm sure I've consistently stuck to that view since long before I arrived here.

Her first "but" screws the sentence out of any elegance and turns the whole into Yodaspeak, it needs to be a full stop. Remove the first "but" and the preceding "may" and I'd agree it works. Looking at it again, removing the other "but" fixes it as well. It depends on where you want the emphasis to lie.
