Ever ride on an Airplane for 4 or 5 hours with screaming & crying kids on board?





Well now lucky me! We made are trek back to our Northern villa, yesterday. And in the Airport waiting area where we waited to board our plane, were "9", I counted them "9" little kiddies waiting there also. All running & screaming & jumping all over the place. It was "three" families traveling together. The oldest kid was about 6! And you guessed it, they all got on our plane! Well about half way through the flight, I realized & said to my wife, you know I don't hear or see any of those kids running up & down the isles! Well now, lucky me!

Guess they ran themselves ragged in the Airport!

My sister and I flew to Canada to visit our relatives. She took her 6 month old son with her - I had not had any children at that time. He screamed the whole flight. My sister was breast feeding him - so I kept saying stick him back on - shes saying noooo my nips are killing me - I'm saying please feed him again. So she kept him latched on for pretty much most of the 9 hour flight. The man sat next to her did not mind as he was enjoying me and my sister discussing the whole sore nip thing. And did not seem to mind my Sis keep flopping them out. Until......bless my nephew he threw up all over the guy. :wah:

Man, I feel for you, Cars.

I'm not anti-child at all but one thing guaranteed to make me mean is that piercing scream kids have. When I'm in the store and someone's letting their child scream or letting their baby cry really loudly, I can feel my backbone start to twitch and I think "shut that kid UP!!" I know it happens sometimes but when parents ignore it and don't stop it I think that's so inconsiderate of others.

The only bad time I had on a plane with children was when our plane was diverted to Barcelona owing to bad weather conditions , we passed the one we should have landed at and it was beautiful down below , we circled Barcelona a few times and my young Grand Daughter who was sat next to me said in a very loud voice , Gramps , I think we are going to crash :-2 The peeps on the plane went silent and stayed that way until we landed
