Loved the film adaptation of RENT, so would have loved to see the play.
You Can't Take It With You, The Deadly Game, R.U.R, and Wait Until Dark are favourites, probably because I had roles in all of them when doing civic theatre years ago.

Butley was revived on Broadway this year, that's a wonderfully clever play.
Umm. What else have I enjoyed. One of the most riveting performances I ever saw was Bill Wallis in Brecht's Caucasian Chalk Circle, the only other people I've seen come close to that intensity and dangerousness on stage are Glenda Jackson (in Mother Courage) and Ian McKellen (particularly in his Macbeth with Judi Dench at the Young Vic). He (Bill Wallis) was an utterly convincing Lear not long ago, too.
One more? Alan Howard playing Professor Halder in C P Taylor's "Good", opposite Joe Melia. The pair were spellbinding.
Reading what I've written, it seems it's the performances that stand out more than the plays themselves when it comes to "what's favourite".

There are more plays out there than you could watch in a month of Sundays. When in doubt, take the Shakespeare.

Shakespeare is always good, Hamlet, Macbeth, oh the comedies are great!

The common executioner, whose heart the accustom'd sight of death makes hard, falls not the axe upon the humbled neck but first begs pardon. Will you sterner be than he that dies and lives by bloody drops?

If music be the food of love, play on....................
But no blood for thee, O Spot!
No Othello!
