I'll be back in N America soon and got thinking how hilarious it would be to go through the US picking up members for a US get together along the way. If I started in Niagra Falls, who would I see first?

You could swing by Manchester before you go and pick me up.

I'm not far from Niagra Falls(From an overall standpoint),..but from what I can remember I think Marie is probably the closest...
Looking at it now, from the current member map Marie looks like she's only about an hour away...
I'm probably about 7 hours away...
Baby Rider and Errina look to be only about 3 hours away...
And then the next closest would be Chonsigirl with what looks to be roughly about the same distance from Niagra Falls as I am...

I've been to Detroit before.
A friend was in Windsor University and we hopped over to use their "people mover" thing. Just went to a bizarre mall that looked like an indoor city though. Then back when it got dark.

Is that because 9 times out of 10 you get mugged in the dark in Detroit?

something like that.
What if I went by some sort of wheeled vehicle and found FG members to shelter me along the way? Then we could find areas to meet whenever there were a few close together?

Or a Pick-em-up truck with a cab on it!! That way you could stuff some of us who want to go to the next stop or five with you in the back of the truck...:wah:
I'm about 2 hours south of Chonsigirl in Virginia...She's in/near Baltimore Maryland:-4
I saw a VW bus the other day and thought of Pinky, how she posted that she would love to have one and travel all over the place....I would love that.

Why don't we plan an north-eastern get together then?
I'd be starting from just north of Toronto.
I could pick up anyone (who doesn't have a criminal record) in Canada who is along the way. Cross into the states and head for Virginia. There are a few members around there. And whoever can come along can hop in along the way.

guppy's not on the map. I thought guppy was somewhere near Virginia!
I had a look and I believe I could make it to Marie's in a day... so someone let her know I'm coming. :wah:

Koan, please get one of those 70's vans for your trip. The kind with the mural on the side, a mirror ball inside, a bed, a cooler, an 8 track, carpet on the floor and walls and captains chairs.
You could have Forum Garden logo painted on the side in the mural. :guitarist

That's funny, because earlier I had the visual of one of the muppets movies...where they travel across the country...in a big bus...I'll have to look for it, might be the Rainbow connection...not sure...hmmmmm
