Its been raining all day but no floods near me as far as I know. Still you can stick a dingy outside and save on petrol. :D

Oh yes and you could get rescued by a sexy firefighter while you accidentally get your see-through white shirt wet, oops I forgot to wear a bra. :D

Nice to see you've gotten yourself out of that tree, Pinks.

But, where exactly is your location now?

Just returned from a river rally in Fenland and had to leave the boat there - site was deep mud with the river flowing well - too much water for a fun cruise home.

A laugh a minute weekend and at least we get the chance to go back and re-visit friends.

We could use some of that rain here in Southeast Georgia. It is dry and we've had sporadic fires that need extinguishing.

They had a couple of bikes in there that are by far the most impressive choppers I've ever seen! Wish I still had the camera! Went back via Reedham (you get to go on the ferry that way) and had a slush puppy on the river before trundling home. :-6

Are you saying that these guys opened a chopper shop in England? :-2

We're just out of our rainy season here. Our rainy season typically lasts about, ummm, nine months of the year.

I love those guys! I don't know the first thing about choppers, or motorcycles in general, but I admire their dedication to their craft and their interactions on the show are funny as Hell.

But, harrumph, about that rain (pardon me, do go on...)

This one was in Peterborough - spent this weekend bringing the boat back to her moorings and, happily, had the total opposite to last weekends weather.

stupid rain, it rained here for a total of ten minutes today. And it was during those ten minutes I had to get inside my house carrying all of the flowers and plants I bought at Home Depot today, I got completely drenched :(

In Leicestershire we had it on Friday afternoon - lightning on every side, hailstones to beak windows, mini tornados ripping out the stallholder's tents, enough rain coming down to back up through the sister in law's toilet.

All over in about half an hour by quite spectacular whilst it was on.

I was fixing S-I-L's computer at the time - power flicking on and off with each lightning strike. Quite exciting :-6
