I was thinking of doing an "the Irish, why are we always drunk?" thread in honour of Lon's recent threads about Americans, but then I forgot as I was, well drunk all the time, and then he beat me to it! Good man!
No seriously though we are very Celtic, I mean I am being Celtic right now, also I am arranging to be at terminal 2 of Dublin Airport with 230 dancers dressed as a Celtic chieftain ready for when MF turns up, we also have a traditional Irish band with 35 musicians in it, and a small mock army to refight "The Battle of the Boyne" as an extra treat. After that we shall repair to local inn, and eat 17 stones of potatos and 13 barrels of St Jame's Gate finest guiness, oh an then have a big fight, it will be great.
God I wish I was messing but I am not, we are going to do that, though the dancers, the band and the mock battle have been recalled because of financial problems, so now its just a couple of cans of Guinness, a bag of chips, and a punch up in the car park, oh well, its still an authentic Irish weekend. :wah:

I will also sing you a nice ditty "The Walls of Limerick" perhaps, and a leprecorn? I think its Leprechaun me dears! :wah: Sure, I will drive out to the fairy fort near Tinnahinch and see if I can get one of them fellas to come up to Dublin with me for the craic!
