I hate ambiguity in tests like these, the setter should be far more careful to avoid them.

In one instance we have a list with two fruit, two vegetables and a plant "bearing a fruit of the same name, commonly used as a vegetable in cooking". Which way should one jump?

In another we have two objects and two actions, coupled with a word which can mean either an object (an animal, in this case) or an action. Which way should one jump?

Finally we have an adjective and four verbs, one of which can mean (commonly) to increase in intensity or (very obscurely) to stand on a moving staircase travelling upward (I presume; I've never heard it actually used that way). The other three verbs all have commonplace meanings connected with moving in the vertical plane, but connecting them in that manner is apparently "wrong".

I was assigned a score of 28 out of 30 which reflects more on the test than on me.
