my girl is very pretty has a perfect little figure and on the whole i'm ok with guys having a sort of check out look ,well almost ..sort of ,on Saturday we were in a McDonald's in petersfield on the way back to London from Portsmouth ,we had our snack/meal chemicals or whatever you call the mushy pate things they serve you these days ,she walked off to the car and i put the trash in the bin ,well as she walked past this 20 year old lad miss fit he not only stared but she walked past he turned in his chair and whilst sitting followed her round as if to bite her bum ,I felt an anger rise in me and i really wanted to slap the smug look off his face,i was walking towards him to get to the door ,he must of seen the fury in my eyes and realised what a jerk he had been his eyes went straight to the floor at my feet ,just in time to see me trip over a chair i had not seen as i had been doing my best protective dad glare and had not seen the chair at all DOH DOH DOH :-5



Then in the block of apartments / flats where she lives an unwashed work shy idiot was checking her out yesterday in a very disrespectful way ,again her caught my overprotective dad glare and looked away ,well this must of played on my mind some what as last night i dreamt that i went round to see her and this idiot had forced his way into her place and was upsetting her refusing to leave ,i grabbed him by the neck and in my dream punched right in the face ... the next thing i know suzy is screaming at me calling me all the f's and a's ... yup I'd punched her in the head in my sleep

Oh no, poor Suzy, my dad did that once to my mum, I remember hearing him shout. I guess it's mixed feelings, proud and protective. The way some girls dress or rather don't in clubs now you can expect it but not while you're out with your dad.

That is soo true!! At 14 I brought a boyfriend home - 20years later I find out my dad hated him!! (good job he let me make my own mind up about him or else I'd have ended up like his next girlfriend - preggers and dumped!)

i know how you feel there jimbo,when shelley was 13 we went on holiday to crete.The second we where there the life guard could not take his eyes off her.Well we spent 10 days there and on the day before we came home all 3 of us where sunnying are self by the pool.Shelley wanted to go the ladies which down some steps ,i watched her go then few second later the life guard was close behind:-5

Unlucky for your poor wife, still i bet if you explained your actions were all in the name of protecting your daughter im sure she will be forgiving. You must remember jimbo when you first set eyes on your now wife you probably gave her the same look as your now witnessing your daughter recieving. Be protective like any dad should be, however give your girl some breathing space. I know where your coming from though.

i can deal with someone just looking at her or checking her out buddy ,what i'm having trouble with is scumbags who really stare straight at her bits with no attempt to even hide what they are doing ,to cut a long story short she has been attacked before and i hate any one scaring her like this , i know she is pretty and she will get looks but no one is dissing her on my watch

I was shattered last night, got off to sleep after listening to Jim snoring for an hour, then woke up to a horrendous pain across the top of my nose, he'd bloody elbowed me, my nose was stinging and eyes were streaming, honestly I really felt like walloping him

it was two incidences actually ,we have had a good chat ,she is entitled to a healthy sex life ,she has a dozen guys asking her out and i think there is one guy who i think she likes and its all good by me

Jr Minks has had guys slip her their phone numbers, sit beside her at macdonalds and tell her she is beautiful and ask her out for drinks (she is 2 years under the legal drinking age) and oggle her at her work. It's not easy to see or hear this stuff.

I think we ought to just tell our daughters to be proud of who they are, encourage their confidence and let them know the importance of being aware of the oggeling men out there and how ok we are as parents with the idea of a good left hook to jaw's of these freaks.:wah:
