I'm sitting here with my TV on in the background. The program just starting is an episode of Perry Mason, one of the great american series that we get to see via cable TV. America have produced some really good programs for example, Columbo which is one of my all time greats. I love his unique investagative style making it a cult following on my part. I have seen almost every episode ever produced. Are their any columbo fans out their intersesting in making a comment?

My parents used to watch Columbo regularly. I just remember his funny manner and that trenchcoat.

I don't remember much of the episodes though.

When I was young my grannie told me that her earliest memories of television were of a detective called Columbo and that she used to watch it enthralled before she married. Has someone rescued archive footage of the program and restored it enough for viewing? I'd quite like to see some and finally discover what she was trying to explain of its style. It sounded very like Victorian stage melodrama.

It was quite easy for him to solve a murder. All he had to do was look for Robert Culp

Spot, you can go to amazon.com and buy episodes of Columbo. I just looked. They have a whole mess of them.
Not to interrupt the thread but did you guys also watch McCloud with Dennis Weaver? I always liked that one.
