I can think of a mess of things about many places, but I'll start with just a few...

England- the Queen lives there. I love that idea and all the pageantry.

Plus you have great castles.

Ireland- it's just beautiful, 'nuff said!! Well and there's that awesome accent too.

Austria- the Lippizzan Stallions.

There's very little not great about my country, i could sit here all day listing what's great, sleep at night & start all over again tomorrow & keep doing that until the end of my life & still only have scratched the surface of whats great about Scotland:-4

As the name says GREAT Britain. GB is a great country, been through 2 world wars and produced some powerful people.

Ireland is nice, its pretty, and its a nice place to live, western Europe is generally like that. The North has gotten much better as well, thank god, finally. Irish people are also generally quite a friendly bunch, though we are all gone a bit money mad at the moment, but that will change. Though its all a bit rainy at the moment so I am not that mad about it, and I wish I was on a quiet island off the greek coast or something. But yes, Ireland, it is very beautiful, and thats not an idle boast, though almost all countries have nice scenery in them. Scotland is a good country, very beautiful as well, and very wild, scots are good people, England I also like a lot, I was born there, its a good place, also lots of very pretty scenery, though a bit more bucolic than wild, good people, generally quite decent and tolerant for the most part. Wales is prettty as well, up north, though I don't know wales so well. Anyway thats my tuppence for now.

Gosh I can only speak about my little corner of this huge country

Wide open spaces, big skies, chinook winds in the winter, plain old wind in the summer, the Rockie Mountains, The discovery of many dinosaur bones near by, Hockey, 4 distinct seasons (heavy jacket winter, light jacket winter, rainy winter and a smattering of summer), Canadian Beer , Fresh Air, Our great Big Calgary Zoo, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, The Calgary Stampede, Ranching, the Oil Sands, Cowboys, friendlieness, being part of a peacekeeping nation ummmm that is good for now.
