At what point in ones life does one come to realize they are loosing their mind?
I am having a terrible time juggling commitments, I have made plans and cancelled plans all over the place these past few months and I can't seem to get out of this stupid rut. Last nite was finally when I came to realize what I am doing.
I bought concert tickets long ago for myself and my daughter. These are for the 27th of this month. From the time I bought them to tonite, I booked my holidays over that time slot, I booked time away with a friend over that time slot and I tentatively planned to go to a friends house.
What in the heck is going on with my head. This isn't the only thing I have messed up on with trying to do too much. Ugh when does the madness stop or am I going down the path towards permanent madness!!!!:-5

Nope, your just spreading yourself too thinly.
Maybe you have so much you still want to do but your getting panicky and cramming it all in without giving yourself 'me' time.
You're still a young woman Minks, but the sound of this post ages you at about 70!

Strangely I was reading only last night of a technical innovation which might help you surmount this particular difficulty. It consists of a pre-printed booklet marking on all pages the days of a given week, with sufficient pages that each can carry a consecutive date in the future and yet the booklet not expire for as much as twelve months. The use entails making an immediate written annotation with sufficient detail, and on the appropriate day or days, that subsequent attempts to plan something for the same day give immediate feedback regarding the previous commitment. It was suggested, in the write-up I saw, that the booklet might even be used for finding a suitable day or days to suggest for a proposed venture, but I think they're stretching things with that notion.
Shall I find the article for you?

There was something so pleasant about that phase.

You heard the original version, or Shawn Colvin's version?
Let me know, and if not I'll link those as well. All three very different versions of the same song.
