Oh geez. I didn't know that. I sincerely apologize for that.

I like Waltzing Matilda very much, actually. I bet you would never have guessed that, huh? ;) This is a great thread!

Is Melbourne where your husband is a copper?

Seeeedney is one of my favorite cities and Melbourne ain't bad either. I want to visit some good friends in Perth on my next trip to Oz. Some of Australia's Gold Coast makes Miami Beach almost look like third world my comparison.

A couple questions if I may?

What's the correct way to pronounce Tasmania? Is it TazmanEEa or TazMAYNia?

Also, remember "dingoes killed my baby?" That woman whose baby supposedly disappeared to Ayers Rock and was eaten by dingoes? What was the final outcome on that? Was it ever found to be true or did the woman herself kill her baby? What do most Australian people think of that? Thanks.

they did when a bloke kidnapped a bus load of children, some of the farmers around here helped with that because they new the bush and surrounds very well.

HHHmmm good aussie tale that, I'll find it!

And yet another reason I'd like to live there.
